Travel RN Opportunity - Albany, New York
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU
Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Epic experience is REQUIRED.
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
- Trauma Level One experience is required.
- Must have 2-3 years of staff experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
- Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
Required Skill Set
- Competency with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in ICU.
- Experience with high acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
- Proficient with ventilators, arterial lines (a-lines), spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring.
- Experience with temporary pacemakers and titration of vasoactive and inotropic drips.
Additional Notes
- Local candidates from certain counties are no longer eligible as of 1/11/2024.
- High acuity critical care environment with complex patient care needs.
This position is ideal for experienced CVICU nurses with strong critical care skills and Epic EMR proficiency looking for a travel assignment in a Level One Trauma center.
