CT Tech Position - Garden City, Kansas

Job Details

• Specialty: CT Tech
• Location: Garden City, Kansas
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
• Shift: Weekend overnight (Friday-Sunday, 7 PM - 7 AM)
• Holiday Requirements: Yes, staffed on holidays
• Call/Standby: No call; CT staffed 24 hours

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (AHA)
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Kansas state license

Department & Equipment

• Department has 1 GE 64-slice CT scanner
• Imaging includes all CT scans, strokes, trauma
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• EMR: Epic
• PACS: Fuji Synapse

Experience & Skills Required

• Experience performing CT scans
• IV contrast administration experience
• No requirement for technologists to start IVs (IVs started in ED or inpatient unit)

Orientation & Scheduling

• Department-specific orientation provided
• Must be in-state for orientation week (even if some modules are remote)
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling available

Additional Information

• Radius requirement: within 60 miles, driver's license must be submitted
• Typical in-house radiologist coverage: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used
• No scrub color or dress code requirements
