Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - Travel/Contract

Location: Los Angeles, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• May include occasional weekend coverage
• Floating to a nearby facility 1-2 times per week

Job Details

• Start Date: December 8
• Hours Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
• Experience Required:

  • California license in hand
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
  • New graduates will be considered

Required Certifications and Documents

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • California State License (primary source verification)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
  • National Tech Certification (if applicable)

• Background Checks:

  • Standard 7-year background check including SS trace and county searches
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check (annual)
  • HHS/OIG check (annual)

• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with specific guidelines for past positives)
  • Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination or declination (during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccine fully completed (per California state policy)
  • COVID-19 booster required if eligible

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form prior to start
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)

• Annual Skills Checklist
• Professional References:

  • 2 references for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles
  • 1 reference for per diem non-acute care roles
  • Not required for non-clinical roles

This position offers a travel/contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week and a flexible schedule that may include weekend shifts and floating assignments. It is suitable for licensed therapists with SNF experience, including new graduates.
