Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel)
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Shift:
- Monday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Wednesday (Float): 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Includes 2 days/month on call
- Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
- Potential to rotate to other shifts based on staffing needs
Unit Information
- Unit: Radiology/CT in a free-standing emergency room
- Beds: 12 Emergency Department rooms
- Staffing: 1 RAD/CT tech per 12-hour shift
- Equipment:
- GE Optima 660 CT
- GE Proteus X-ray
- Documentation System: Meditech
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1+ year experience acceptable
- General radiology technologist experience required
- CT experience required
Certifications & Licenses
- ARRT(R)(CT) Certification
- SCRQSA Certification
- BLS Certification
- Valid Radiology Tech License
Procedures Performed
- Emergency department x-ray and CT examinations
Dress Code
- Gray scrubs required
