Physical Therapist Opportunity - Minnesota

Location: Jackson, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Licensure & Certification Requirements

• Minnesota Physical Therapist license required
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• No minimum years of experience required

Schedule & Work Hours

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• No evenings, weekends, or on-call required
• Possibility of working alone if the staff Physical Therapist has a day off

Job Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and technical direction to team members during shifts
• Deliver specialized therapy programs to help patients recover mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength
• Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for patients affected by injury or disease
• Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to administer therapy interventions safely
• Document patient information and therapeutic plans, modifying as necessary
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
• Treat patients of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders
• Follow clinical practice guidelines and meet all regulatory documentation requirements
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services

Work Environment & Equipment

• Use of EPIC electronic charting system
• Facility includes 4 outpatient exam rooms and a 14-bed inpatient Medical-Surgical unit
• Physical therapy assistant available to assist with training and orientation
• Dress code: Polo shirts (Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, Chocolate Brown) or business casual
• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility

Additional Notes

• Must disclose if previously employed by the facility system, with a minimum 6-month gap before rehire
• Sole Physical Therapist on site during shifts
