Job Opportunity: CT/X-Ray Technologist

Location: North Adams, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Primarily CT technologist role; X-Ray experience also required
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures independently, applying critical thinking and judgment
• May have supervisory or instructional responsibilities within the department
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems
• Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control and OSHA standards
• Complete annual mandatory education (blood borne pathogens, infection control, body substance isolation)
• Must be willing to perform other duties within scope of practice during low census

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current CT/X-Ray experience
• Previous travel experience required (at least 6 months)
• Current agency experience required (6 months to 1 year or more); first-time travelers with an agency will not be considered
• Travelers working a concurrent per diem/PRN assignment will not be considered
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Must have own vehicle
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times (no "anytime" availability accepted)
• No schedule accommodations (block scheduling, etc.) will be considered; must work posted 10- or 12-hour shifts
• No more than 5 days of requested time off during assignment; requests after profile upload will not be approved

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Must hold a valid Massachusetts state license

Additional Notes

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Excellent communication skills required (written, verbal, and electronic messaging)
• 8 hours non-billable overtime; holiday multipliers apply
