Travel RN - Cardiopulmonary (CCU)
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Specialty: Critical Care Unit (CCU)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Provide patient care services in the Non-Invasive Cardiac Testing department, including stress testing and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
- Perform duties consistent with the facility’s mission, values, and service standards.
Unit Information
- Department: Cardiac Care Unit
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), 5 days a week (5x8)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend rotation, no call required
- Call Requirements: None
- Equipment: Phillips
- EMR System: EPIC
Qualifications
- Current RN Temporary Permit or RN license in Missouri required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU, Step-down, or cardiac testing
- Documented experience with conscious sedation required
- Current ACLS certification must be listed on resume
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
Skills & Experience
- Must have experience in conscious sedation
- EPIC experience preferred
- Experience with cardiac patients
Additional Information
- Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval)
- Dress code: Black scrubs required
