Travel RN Opportunity - Operating Room (Gynecology and Genitourinary Specialty)
Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Travel Nurse with a minimum of 3 years Level 1 trauma experience specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at a Level One Trauma Center. The role requires expertise in surgical nursing, exceptional patient care, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of Level 1 trauma nursing experience (highest required years of experience)
- Competency in:
- Robotics (DaVinci Xi)
- PCNLs (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy)
- Nephrectomies
- Ureteral Reimplants
- Hysterectomies
- Cystectomies
- Colpocleisis
- Hysteroscopies
- Ureteroscopies
- Comfortable caring for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Level 1 trauma experience required

Work Environment
- Department: Operating Room

- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
- EMR System: Epic
- Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM (day shift)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: 1:4 rotation, 12-hour shifts
- Call Requirements: One overnight trauma call (11 PM – 7 AM), scheduled per specialty team rules if on specialty teams (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
