Job Opportunity: RN Dialysis (LTA)

Work Schedule

• Shift: 5:30 AM – 10:00 PM, rotating shifts
• Hours: 36-40 hours per week, based on clinic need

Job Requirements

• Hemodialysis experience required
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Car required for transportation
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Shared housing available (no pets or guests allowed)

Required Credentials & Compliance

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid professional nursing license (MA Conditional Licenses NOT accepted)
• BLS certification (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• Primary source verification of license and certifications required within 30 days of start
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills checklist specific to the assignment

Health & Immunization

• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start, updated annually
• Documentation of MMR immunity (vaccines or titer)
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30)
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start (skin test or blood test)
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
• If positive TB test, chest X-ray documentation required

Background & Compliance Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start
• Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start
• Education verification of highest degree achieved

Additional Notes

• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for any start date changes
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required
• Housing agreement required only if moving into shared housing

This position is ideal for experienced dialysis RNs seeking a long-term assignment with rotating shifts in a hospital setting. Compliance with all credentialing, health, and background requirements is mandatory prior to onboarding.
