Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work schedule: 36 hours per week, every other week (EOW)
- Required certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Required Credentials and Compliance for Onboarding
Certifications
- BLS: American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel.
- ACLS: Required for RNs in ED, CCU, PACU, MICU, SICU.
- PALS or ENPC: Required for RNs in Emergency Department.
- TNCC: Required.
Licenses
- Current license verification dated within 30 days of start. Must include state verification (e.g., NURSYS for RNs).
Personal Health Requirements
- Fit Test
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of booster by Sept 2025, or declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report.
- Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted.
- Influenza Vaccine: Proof or declination/exemption for current flu season (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): Positive TB requires chest x-ray within last year (for CT and certain states).
- Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer lab report.
- Physical/Health Statement: Exam within last year confirming fitness to work.
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days of start, must include specified substances (NO THC).
- Tdap: Current vaccine required; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction.
Professional Requirements
- Signed Trinity Code of Conduct Form
- Completed Trinity I9 form
- Signed Confidentiality and System Security Agreement
- Signed Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
- Specialty Specific Competency Testing: Must be completed within the last year.
- Skills Checklist: Provided by agency for clinical contractors.
- Criminal Background Check: Federal, nationwide, county (last 7 years), SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
- Education Verification: Highest academic degree or diploma verified.
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 30 days.
- GSA/OIG Exclusion check within 30 days.
- Joint Commission CORE Exam within last year.
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check within 30 days.
- System Access Form: Must be completed and uploaded one week before start.
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
- OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check within 30 days.
