Description
Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Technologist (CT/X-Ray Combo)
Location: Glendive, Montana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: CT/X-Ray Combo (X-Ray only candidates will not be accepted)
- Certification: ARRT-CT not required; ARRT-R accepted
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Varies; includes 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Varies depending on staffing
- On-call: Yes
- Floating: Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule: Possible but not guaranteed
- Locals: Accepted
- State License: Pending state license applications accepted; must submit application immediately after offer
- Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No RTO within first 2 weeks due to orientation; any RTO must be less than a week
- Guaranteed Hours:
- 8 and 10-hour shifts: 40 hours guaranteed weekly
- 3 shifts of 12 hours: 36 hours guaranteed weekly
- 4 shifts of 12 hours: 48 hours guaranteed weekly
- Daily Caseload: Approximately 28 cases per tech

- Type: Acute Care Hospital with 24-hour emergency care
- Services: Full medical and surgical services, plus attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility
- Trauma Level: IV
- Total Staffed Beds: 25
- Charting System: Cerner
- Scrub Color: Any (refer to dress code policy)
- Parking: Free
Required Documentation & Compliance
Identification & Background Checks
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
- 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start (updated annually)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support): Required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required as per unit description
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Required as per unit description
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure): Required as per unit description
- National Tech Certification Verification as applicable
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual)
- State License Verification (primary source)
Competencies
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Competency Exam (as applicable to profession/specialty)

Health Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start
- Fit Mask test completed onsite on first day
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year (various acceptable testing options)
- Immunizations or positive titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year of start
- Seasonal Vaccinations:
- Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
- COVID vaccine required; exemptions accepted

This position offers a guaranteed weekly schedule with flexibility in shifts and the opportunity to work in a Level IV trauma acute care hospital setting. Candidates must be prepared to comply with all certification, licensing, and health documentation requirements prior to start.
