Required Certifications

Required Licenses and Experience

• RN degree with Missouri RN license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Experience with drips and post-procedure patients
• Pending license not accepted

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

Background Checks (must be completed within 30 days of start)

• 7-year background check including SSN, counties lived/worked, national sex offender, OFAC, FACIS Level 3, education verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• State-specific Missouri EDL and FCSR searches (time sensitive, can take up to 7 business days)
• High school diploma/GED verification if applicable
• Education verification (highest level) required for all except Food/Nutrition Services & Environmental Services

Certifications and Competencies

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (80% score or meet Angoff score)
• Color blind testing (required for all travelers)
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (80% pass rate) for Telemetry and related units
• NIH Stroke Certification for applicable units (renew annually)
• CPI certification for Psychiatric RNs (if applicable)

Health Requirements

• Physical exam signed by physician or advanced practice provider within 1 year (renew annually)
• Fit mask (3M N95 or PAPR) within 1 year (renew annually)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB test (Qgold or Tspot) within 12 months or chest x-ray if prior positive
• TB questionnaire annually
• Immunizations or positive titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella, Hepatitis B (or declination)
• Drug testing (9 panel including marijuana) within 30 days of start, renewed annually
• Seasonal flu vaccination required by November 4th or mask required; declinations accepted with approval

• 2 supervisor-level references required for travel nurses (1 within 1 year)

• Full Return to Office (RTO) documentation required with application
• All documentation and compliance must be completed timely to avoid delays
• Floating assignments will be determined by unit needs
