Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania
Facility: WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

- Required Certifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- EPIC experience required
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Tech Cert Verification - National
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (required for all RNs except OR and Home Health)
- State License Verification (primary source online verification)
- NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- NIH Stroke Certification (if applicable)
Competency Exams
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (pass/fail exam required for all RNs except OR and Home Health)
Facility Specific Documents
- Passport-style professional photo for badge
- Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work (signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT within 90 days of start)
- Commitment to Health & Wellness (review and sign)

- Physical Exam (within 90 days of start)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot within 90 days; PPD not accepted)
- Immunizations or positive titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- Varicella
- Drug Testing: Negative 9 Panel within 1 year (Aya requirement only)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption (required by 10/31 annually)
- COVID-19 Vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption/declination
- Respiratory Safety Clearance (within 1 year, renew annually)
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references within 3 years of start

- Performance evaluations will be completed onsite by Unit Managers during assignment
Notes
- Candidate will be clinically screened and interviewed by the manager before final approval.
- The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free; candidates should be notified prior to submission.
- Candidates must be prepared to care for COVID-19 patients.
- LMS modules and new hire orientation must be completed by the first day of orientation.
- Fingerprinting must be completed in Pennsylvania; mailing fingerprint packets is not allowed.
- Candidates can start with some background checks pending but must have all finalized within 45 days or risk removal from the assignment.
This position offers a structured schedule with evening shifts and requires flexibility for weekends, holidays, and call rotations. Candidates must meet strict credentialing, background, and health requirements to comply with facility and state regulations.
