• Patient Population: Mostly adults and geriatric; seldom pediatrics
• Typical Census: 100-110 patients
• Equipment:

  • GE VCT 64 slice CT scanner
  • GE Brightspeed 16 slice CT scanner
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Experience: At least 1 year in CT
• Skills:

  • Proficient in CT tasks
  • Strong critical thinking skills
• Education: ARRT certification required
• Dress Code:

  • Scrubs of any color allowed
  • No jeans or leggings

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes

• Experience with CT imaging related to:

  • Pulmonary embolism (PE)
  • Stroke
  • Kidney stones
  • Appendicitis
  • Chest and abdominal pain
  • Motor vehicle accident (MVA) trauma
• Team player with a positive attitude

Additional Notes

• Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays
• No float requirements
• No patient ratios specified
