Travel RN - Emergency Department

Location: Portland, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Emergency Nursing
Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Nights
Weekly Hours: 36 to 48 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to all areas within the Emergency Department

Unit Information

Department: Emergency Department
Number of Beds: 60+
Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:6
Patient Population: Acute adult and pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses
Equipment Used: Phillips monitors, VS monitors, EKG machine
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Required Certifications & Education

Maine State Nursing License or ability to practice in Maine
Basic Life Support (BLS)
CPI or similar workplace violence training
Completion of required education modules consistent with Emergency Department staff

Skills & Experience

Must Have: Experience in inpatient Med-Surg and/or Emergency Department technician role
Preferred: Emergency nursing experience
Personality Fit: Good communicator, ambitious, and team-oriented

Scrub color: Any
