Contract Length

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of stress test experience (higher value confirmed)
• Clinic experience preferred
• Prior travel experience: Not required

Certifications Required

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Job Duties

• Prepare patients and perform exercise or pharmacologic stress tests
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythm during procedures
• Administer medications per protocol and respond to adverse reactions
• Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure patient safety and accurate test results
• Conduct clinic nurse visits

Department Details

• 2 rooms/scanners in the department
• Float/cover areas: Stress Tests & Clinic
• Average studies per day: 4-8
• EMR/PACS systems used: Muse & Cingo Dynamics
• Department-specific equipment: GE
• Radiology Supervisor: RN Lead
• Cardiologist in-house during the day
• IV starts: Primarily done by Nuclear Medicine Techs; may be asked to start IVs for Echo Techs

Schedule

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Monday & Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements

Orientation

• 1 to 3 shifts with a preceptor

Dress Code

• Any color scrubs, clean and professional

Note: Clinicians who have previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
