Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Schedule:
    • 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (evenings)
    • Weekends and holidays as needed
    • Call rotation required
  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
  • Certifications Required:
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
    • EPIC experience required
  • Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
  • Floating: Not applicable
  • Additional Info:
    • May care for COVID-19 patients
    • Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

Required Documentation & Compliance

Background Checks

  • 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
  • PA FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days or will be removed from assignment
  • Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required, must be finalized prior to start
  • Child Abuse History Clearance (PA Childline Search) required, must be completed within 5 years of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days

Certifications & Competencies

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC as applicable (refer to unit/job description)
  • Tech Certification Verification (national) as applicable
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing required for RNs (except OR and Home Health)
  • State License primary source verification required
  • NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (pass/fail) required for RNs (except OR and Home Health)

Health Documents

  • Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
  • Immunizations and titers required:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days of start (PPD not accepted)
    • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required; boosters required if titers negative or equivocal
    • Hepatitis B: Positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination form if applicable
    • Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required; boosters required if titers negative or equivocal
  • Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year of start (Aya requirement only)
  • Flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption required during flu season (declinations not accepted)
  • COVID-19 vaccine or valid exemption/declination accepted
  • Respiratory Safety Clearance required within 1 year of start, renewed annually

Facility Specific Documents

  • Passport-style photo for badge (professional appearance, solid light background)
  • Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work form (preferred within 90 days of start)
  • Review and sign:
    • Commitment to Health & Wellness
    • Code of Conduct
    • Confidentiality Agreement
    • Non-Employee Affidavit
  • I9 and Documentation Attestation to be completed by agency
  • Completion of Learning Management System (LMS) modules required for RNs and CNAs before start date
  • New Hire Orientation required by end of first day

History & Verification

  • 2 professional references within 3 years
  • Most recent resume/application required
  • Annual skills checklist required
  • Performance evaluations completed onsite during assignment

Notes

  • Candidate will be clinically screened and interviewed by manager before final decision
  • Tobacco and fragrance-free environment; candidates must be notified prior to submission
  • Candidate must comply with all background, health, and certification requirements to start and maintain assignment
