Description
CT Technologist Opportunity
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Certifications
- BLS
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
- North Dakota state licensure
Experience & Skills
- Preferred experience with biopsy, drains, interventional radiology (IR), and stroke imaging
- Willingness to learn IV starts if not already skilled
Department & Equipment
- 2 CT scanners (Siemens 64 slice and Siemens 40 slice with Fluoro capabilities)
- Imaging includes inpatient, outpatient, ER, CTA, biopsies, stroke imaging, coronary CTAs
- Average 45 scans/studies per day
- EMR system: EPIC
- Radiologist coverage: In-house Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; after hours via teleradiology
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) on staff
Work Schedule & Requirements
- Shifts: 8-hour (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and 12-hour (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Weekend: Every other to every third weekend, 12-hour shifts
- Holidays: Required
- Orientation: 1 week of unit/department-specific orientation
- Dress code: Any color scrubs
Additional Information
- May float to transport or other radiology areas where certified
- Teamwork, initiative, and a friendly, knowledgeable attitude are important for success
- Supervisor available on day shifts
- Response time offsite not applicable
- Radius rule: Must live within 50 miles and cannot be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with certain affiliated facilities
