Job Details

  • Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

  • Proof of I9 or Attestation
  • Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
  • E-Verify or Attestation
  • Background Check: 7-year criminal history, nationwide, sex offender, FACIS Level 3, education verification
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
  • Education Verification through primary source
  • State License Verification (Washington D.C. license only)
  • NURSYS Verification (for all RNs)
  • Competency Exams as applicable (Medication/Pharmacology, Core Parts I-III)
  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)
  • Physical Exam (initial and annual) completed by a physician using facility-specific form
  • Fit Mask Testing within one year of start, updated annually
  • Immunizations and Titers:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (or declination form)
    • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year
    • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (Titer or 2 vaccines, booster if needed)
    • Hepatitis B (Titer, vaccine series, or declination form)
    • Varicella (Titer or 2 vaccines, booster if needed)
    • Flu Vaccine (required annually; religious and medical exemptions accepted with approval)
  • Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
  • References: Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
  • Employment Application including licensure, certifications, education, and employment history

Additional Notes

  • Candidates must review and sign the applicable job description and position acknowledgement forms prior to start.
  • The facility does not accept physician statements or return-to-duty evaluations in place of the required physical exam form.
  • COVID-19 booster is preferred but not required.
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

This position is suitable for RNs with at least 2 years of L&D experience who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet the certification and compliance requirements listed above. First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
