CT/XRay Technologist - Travel Opportunity

Location: Lisbon, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a CT/XRay Technologist with experience in CT and Radiology technology. This role involves performing imaging studies such as traumas, strokes, isolation cases, chest pain, C-arm, and DEXA scans. The position requires coverage of both X-ray and CT modalities.

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • North Dakota state licensure
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of CT & Radiology Tech experience required
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
• Skills:

  • Ability to start IVs if not already started by RN
  • Experience with Toshiba CT equipment
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR/PACS system

Work Details

• Shifts: 8-hour shifts, rotating day shifts (07:00-15:30, 08:30-17:00, 09:00-17:30)
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3-5 weekends
• Holiday Requirement: Every 4th holiday
• Call/Standby: 15-minute response time for trauma/stroke cases
• Orientation: Varies based on experience
• Dress Code: No scrub color requirement; scrubs not provided
• Department Setup:

  • 1 X-ray room, 1 CT room, portable and fluoroscopy equipment
  • No radiologist on-site
  • Radiology supervisor or lead tech present on each shift
  • No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs)

Additional Notes

• No clinical involvement beyond imaging duties
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are important for success
• Floating between X-ray and CT coverage required

Other Considerations

• Radius rule: Must be willing to work within 50 miles and not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated facilities
• Return to Office (RTO) required within 7 days of contract start; no additional RTO approvals after submission
