• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years Medical-Surgical nursing experience

• Licensure: Current Missouri or Compact RN License required
• Certifications Required at Time of Submission:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background Check:

  • 7-year criminal history check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Includes Social Security Trace, County searches for all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, Nationwide, Sex Offender Registry
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start, updated with each contract renewal
• Copy of Degree/Diploma or transcripts (highest level)
• State-specific searches as required by Missouri regulations

Certifications

• BLS: AHA or ARC accepted; renewals must be AHA only
• ACLS: Required for Med Surg and other specified units; AHA or ARC accepted; renewals must be AHA only
• Other certifications (if applicable to other units): PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)
• NURSYS Verification (for all RNs)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Color Blind Testing (required prior to start)
• Competency Exams as required

Health Requirements

• Physical Exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Fit Test with 3M N95 (1860 or 1870+) within 1 year prior to start
• Immunizations and Titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (MMR) titers or vaccinations
  • Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
  • Varicella titer, vaccine, or history of chickenpox
• Drug Testing:

  • 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
  • Negative 9-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (instant NOT accepted)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved Medical/Religious exemption (deadline Dec 31; exemptions must be submitted by Nov 15)

References & History

• Two professional clinical references within 2 years required
• Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the facility for over 1 year
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
• Employment application/resume required

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

• Weekend shifts are mandatory every other weekend

This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of Med Surg experience, holding current Missouri or Compact RN licensure, and current BLS and ACLS certifications, who is comfortable with weekend shifts and meeting comprehensive health and background compliance requirements.
