Nursing Home Registered Nurse (Contract)

Location: New Lisbon, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

Assist with day-to-day nursing activities in a nursing home setting. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.

Essential Job Duties

Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians, families, etc.
Complete all applicable resident assessments
Administer medications following the 5 Rights
Perform wound care and assessments as needed
Assist CNAs with answering call lights
Monitor residents for changes in condition
Act as leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed
Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to appropriate leadership
Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting
Perform other duties as requested

Required Qualifications

Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience preferred (higher experience requirement not indicated)
Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
