Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel/Contract
Location: Pomona, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

- Float Requirement: Yes, clinicians will float within scope to meet facility needs. ICU Float RNs may be floated to any ICU/Telemetry units.
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (client may cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment)
- Return to Office (RTO): Up to 7 days allowed, 1 holiday approved off

- NIH Stroke Certification (accepted from all vendors; valid for 2 years)

- CCRN (Critical Care RN)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- PALS, NRP, EFM, CHEMO (depending on unit)
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Background Check covering last 7 years, including Social Security Address Check (last 15 years), National Criminal Search, Sex Offender Search, Education Verification, and International Searches if applicable
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days prior to start
- State-specific Medi-Cal Exclusion Search (California) within 30 days prior to start
- Education verification required
- Primary source verification of state license within 30 days prior to start
- NURSYS verification for RNs
- Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start; annual renewal required for travel and per diem
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start, cleared to work without restrictions
- Fit Mask test required (specific approved masks)
- Tdap vaccine or declination within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility protocol
- TB Questionnaire required for all candidates
- Immunity or vaccination records for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Hepatitis C
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or facility-specific declination required annually
- COVID-19 vaccination or facility-specific declination required annually

- Modules assigned via facility LMS platform (WorkRamp) with passing score of 80%+
- Badge photo on plain blue background required within 72 hours of signing
Additional Requirements
- Complete 15 years of work history on application, including cities and states worked and lived
- Two professional references required (one must be from most recent experience)
- Annual skills checklist and competency exams (medication/pharmacology competency with minimum 80% score)
- Radiation badge not provided for new candidates; must be supplied by client if needed
Schedule and Work Environment
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend shifts required
- Floating within ICU/Telemetry units as needed
- No block scheduling available
- Solid colored scrubs only (no camouflage or character patterns)
This position is suitable for ICU Registered Nurses with at least 2 years of experience, who are comfortable floating within ICU/Telemetry units, and who meet the certification and compliance requirements listed above. First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
