Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/LTAC/Rehab

Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in MS (Medical-Surgical), LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care), or Rehab
  • Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts
  • Schedule: Weekends every other weekend required
  • Patient Ratio: 1:8-10
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Licensure: Wisconsin State License required
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in Rehab, LTAC, or Medical-Surgical nursing
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Licenses:
    • Valid Wisconsin RN license
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
  • Competencies:
    • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
    • Competency Exam (as applicable)

Required Documentation & Compliance

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • Emergency Contact Form
  • Background Checks (updated annually):
    • 7-year search including SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender check
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM check
    • HHS/OIG check
    • Wisconsin Caregiver Screening (state-specific search)
  • Facility-specific agreements and attestations including confidentiality, security, and COVID-19 vaccination attestation
  • Physical Exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (within 12 months)
  • Immunizations or proof of immunity for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
  • Drug Testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination (during flu season)
  • Respirator Safety Clearance (annual medical clearance required)

Additional Requirements

  • 2 Professional References for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)
  • Skills Checklist (required annually)
  • Requested time off must be approved by manager

  • Locals are accepted at travel rate
  • Photo for badge must be passport-style with a plain white background

This position is ideal for RNs with at least 1 year of experience in Rehab, LTAC, or Medical-Surgical nursing who are comfortable working night shifts and every other weekend. The role requires compliance with extensive health and background documentation and certifications.
