Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Opportunity

Location: Selma, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel


Job Description

Physical Therapists (PTs) diagnose and treat individuals of all ages who have medical problems or health-related conditions limiting their mobility and functional activities. Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs
  • Developing treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
  • Providing education on injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative and rehabilitation therapy
  • Supervising physical therapy assistants and aides
  • Working in both inpatient and outpatient clinic settings

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Alabama Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Minimum of 2 years recent PT experience, hospital experience preferred
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, no weekends

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

  • Position involves both inpatient and outpatient care
  • State licensure required for practice
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
