Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Opportunity
Location: Selma, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
Physical Therapists (PTs) diagnose and treat individuals of all ages who have medical problems or health-related conditions limiting their mobility and functional activities. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs
- Developing treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
- Providing education on injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative and rehabilitation therapy
- Supervising physical therapy assistants and aides
- Working in both inpatient and outpatient clinic settings
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Alabama Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Minimum of 2 years recent PT experience, hospital experience preferred
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, no weekends
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
