Job Opportunity: Travel CT Technologist
Location: Kingston, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Equipment Used:
- GE 16 slice Brightspeed (ER)
- GE 64 slice VCT (Main Department)
- GE 16 slice Optima 540 (Main Department)
Requirements
- Minimum 1.5+ years of CT Tech experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences
- ARRT certification in CT required
- BLS and CPR certification required
- Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
Responsibilities
- Perform basic CT procedures including venipuncture for injections and operate power injector to administer IV contrast as ordered by physician
- Perform 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation
- Provide coverage for inpatient, outpatient, and ER studies
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures (head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, biopsy/drainage)
- Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy
- Perform additional radiographic procedures as needed (fluoroscopy, portable radiographic, C-arm, OR imaging)

- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Monthly department volume: Approximately 2,420 studies
- 48-hour guarantees are NOT approved
This position is ideal for a CT Technologist seeking a travel assignment with night shifts and experience working with advanced GE CT equipment in a hospital setting.
