CT Tech (CT Tech) - Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general CAT scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams.
• Complete post-processing in a timely manner.
• Perform CT angiographies (CTA) with post-processing.
• Conduct scans of trauma patients efficiently.
• Handle medications during distribution or administration as required.
• Access secured drug storage areas when necessary.
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and staff.
• Maintain high quality and image production standards.
• Provide leadership in coordinating radiology care across all settings.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Tech.
• Demonstrated reliability and effective communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, independent judgment, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to contribute to departmental planning and process improvement.
• Participation in departmental and modality meetings.
• Assist in orientation and training of new associates and students.

Additional Requirements:

• Use of a personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required to maintain accurate exposure records.

Contract Length:

• Approximately 13 weeks (92 days converted to weeks).
