Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Case Manager (Travel/Contract)

Location: Attleboro, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Role: Case Manager
  • Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 16:30)
  • Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
  • Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
  • Staffing Ratio: 1:35
  • Schedule: No weekends
  • Orientation: 40 hours

Experience Requirements

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse - Case Management in an acute care setting
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not required (1st timers okay)

Education & Certifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required
  • Certifications Required:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
    • Case Management Certification (preferred/required)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
  • Additional Certifications:
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only (if applicable)
    • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - AWHONN Beginner (for L&D RNs only)

Compliance & Background Checks

  • Must complete Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Release and background checks including:
    • 7-year SS Trace and County searches
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM
    • HHS/OIG
    • Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search
  • Background checks must be completed prior to start; no pending background checks allowed.

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
  • N95 Fit Test within last 6 months (specific mask models required)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine (with medical declination allowed under strict conditions)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (2-step PPD or equivalent)
  • Annual TB questionnaire for past positives or pending TB tests
  • Immunity or vaccination for:
    • Measles (Rubeola)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B (numerical titer required; declinations accepted)
    • Varicella (no declinations accepted)
  • Drug screen within 30 days prior to start (minimum 9-panel)
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine required during flu season (September - April); medical exemptions allowed with documentation
  • COVID-19 Vaccine required (medical or religious exemptions accepted with signed documentation)

Additional Requirements

  • 2 professional references within the last 3 years
  • Badge photo required (passport style, head and shoulders, plain background)
  • Completion of facility-specific compliance checklists and questionnaires (e.g., latex allergy, personal information, COVID exemption forms if applicable)
