Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule options:
- 2 × 12-hour shifts and 2 × 8-hour shifts
- OR 5 × 8-hour shifts
- Weekend rotation every third weekend
- Flexibility required to fill in on other shifts as needed
- Required to work holidays as needed
Required Experience & Skills
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Equipment experience: Siemens CT scanner
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Ohio State License

Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including FBI and BCI fingerprinting (Ohio-specific code 3701.881)
- Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring
- Education accreditation verification required (AART and state license)
- Pending background check attestation allowed if fingerprint results are pending
- Subcontractors must complete background acknowledgement forms prior to start
- Dress code and hand hygiene policy acknowledgment required
- Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate required prior to start and annually
- Ethics and compliance policies must be reviewed and signed annually
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine (adult dose after age 11/12)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year; TB questionnaire required annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters if low titer
- Hepatitis B: Titer or 3-vaccine series or signed declination
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; medical exemption allowed with documentation
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending tests allowed)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31); mask required if declined
- COVID-19 vaccination not required but strongly recommended
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references required; at least one must be from a manager or formal leader
- Employment application and skills checklist required
- Proof of fingerprint completion required for all candidates
- Candidates must be flexible and able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
