Travel RN - PCU Multi Trauma
Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Unit Information
- Unit: Medical Trauma Unit (MTU 655) – Step-Down Unit
- Beds: 20
- Staff: 40 total
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, 3 techs
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, 2 techs
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:4 (charge nurse is patient-free)
- Equipment: Vents, Feeding Pumps, IV Pumps, Wound Vacs, Specialty beds, Suction, Chest Tubes
- EMR System: Meditech
Job Requirements
- Certifications:
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (preferred)
- NIH Certification
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years as an RN
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Skills & Responsibilities
- Must have:
- Ability to manage chest tubes, trauma patients, tracheostomies, and suction
- Preferred:
- ACLS certification
