    Job Details

    Required Experience

    • Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard for Labor and Delivery RN roles (typically 1-2 years minimum).

    Required Certifications and Licenses

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC only

    • AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring – Required once every 2 years

    Health and Immunization Requirements

    • COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccine and 1 booster or approved exemption
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): Proof of 2 immunizations or positive IGG titer; if negative titer, booster or declination accepted
    • Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 vaccinations, positive antibody titer, or declination accepted; if negative titer, booster or declination accepted
    • TB Test: Negative TB skin test, QuantiFERON Gold, or T-spot within 30 days of start; if positive, must provide history and chest x-ray within last 5 years
    • Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination accepted
    • Tdap: Proof of vaccination within past 10 years or declination accepted
    • Influenza Vaccine: Required from October to March unless exempted for medical or religious reasons
    • Drug Screen: 9-panel (minus THC), within 30 days of start, updated annually; rapid drug screen accepted

    Background and Compliance Checks

    • Criminal Background Check: 7-year county and national check, SSN trace, employment verification (5 years), OFAC, NSO; must be within 30 days prior to start and updated every 3 years
    • OIG, EPLS, OFAC, National Sex Offender Searches: Manual searches within 30 days of start, updated annually
    • Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List: Must be checked within 30 days prior to first assignment and updated monthly thereafter
    • Driver’s License/State ID: Clear copy required (passport accepted)
    • Professional References: 2 professional references required, including at least 1 supervisory

    Additional Requirements

    • Health Statement: Signed and dated within 1 year of start, stating ability to work without restrictions
    • Skills Checklist: Clinical skills specific checklist to be completed within 1 year of start
    • Confirmation of Assignment/Job Description: Must be acknowledged and updated with each extension
    • Policy Packet Acknowledgement: Must be signed and submitted
    • Dispute Resolution Agreement: Must be signed and submitted
    • Badge Photo: Neutral background, forward facing, no facial jewelry
    • Release of Information for MyChart: Must be signed and submitted
    • Education Verification: Diploma, degree, or transcripts acceptable; primary source verification required prior to first assignment and upon requalification
    • Do Not Rehire/Send (DNS) Attestation: Required for any known DNS records from prior 3 years

    This position requires compliance with all listed health, certification, and background verification standards prior to start date.
