Job Summary: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Contract in Eatontown, New Jersey

Position Details

Experience Requirements

• Years of Specialty Experience: Minimum 1 year required (higher value confirmed)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Licensure & Certifications

• Licenses:

  • New Jersey state license required prior to start (NJ license processing takes about 2 weeks)
  • ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required prior to start
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • Strong myocardial knowledge and skills expected
  • Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred
• Charting System: EPIC

Time Off / Schedule Requests

• Any time off or schedule requests must be submitted with application and approved before offer

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Background Checks:

  • Criminal background check within 30 days of start
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
  • New Jersey Department of Treasury Exclusions List check within 30 days of start and for extensions
• Health Documents:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as per facility requirements
  • Physical exam within the last 12 months confirming fitness for duty and free of communicable disease
  • Drug screen within 30 days of start (10-panel urine test)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
  • Immunizations or proof of immunity for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Fit test and respiratory medical clearance if job tasks require respirator use
  • Latex allergy questionnaire if applicable
  • Color blindness exam if job tasks require color discrimination
• Competency Exams:

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required within 72 hours of signing
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required within 72 hours of signing (for applicable units)
  • Pass/fail testing for EKG and medication knowledge required
• References & Work History:

  • Two references within the last 2 years (one managerial)
  • Employment application or resume with 7 years of work history
  • Work history verification required for New Jersey candidates (minimum 1 year prior to start, allowing 30-day gaps)
