• Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) for Monitor Techs

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Background check covering last 7 years, all states lived/worked in, required annually
• Education verification or copy of diploma/transcripts required
• Physical exam required
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (2-step PPD or Qgold accepted; T-Spot not accepted)
• TB questionnaire required prior to start and annually thereafter
• Immunizations or titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (includes amphetamines, cannabinoids, MDMA, methamphetamines, buprenorphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, cocaine, methadone, tramadol, benzodiazepines, morphine/opiate)
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start and documentation on file by 12/15 annually
• COVID vaccine exemptions allowed with proper medical or religious documentation

Additional Requirements

• Clear, passport-style photo with solid background for badge
• Completion of facility-specific modules (approx. 8-10 hours) prior to start; paid time for completion
• Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement required before start
• Candidates must complete any required on-site testing (e.g., EKG exam for Monitor Techs)

Experience and Travel Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
