Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: La Plata, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 13 weeks; longer contracts up to 20-26 weeks may be accepted)
Shift: 4x10 hour night shifts, block schedule Thursday through Sunday (9:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job Description

• Position: CT Technologist
• Schedule: 4 consecutive 10-hour night shifts, Thursday through Sunday
• Holidays and weekends are required as part of the block schedule
• Floating and on-call are not required
• Equipment used: Siemens scanners, PACS system for imaging upload
• Charting systems: EPIC, PACS

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty
• First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience not required)

Licensure & Certifications Required

• Maryland state licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist) required
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification preferred

Required Documentation & Compliance

• I9 or Attestation
• Government Issued Photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal search, SSN trace, nationwide and education verification
• Maryland State Exclusions List check within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start (including Latex Screen)
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start (3M N95 1860 respirator clearance required)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per Maryland requirements, updated annually
• Immunizations/vaccinations:

  • Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Apr)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap as applicable
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (positive titer or vaccination proof required)
• Negative drug screen (9 or 10 panel depending on facility) within 30-45 days prior to start
• Two supervisory references within 1 year of start
• Employment application/resume completed within 30 days of start
• Verification of previous 5 years of employment history (attestation accepted if necessary)

Facility-Specific Requirements

• Completion of confidentiality agreements, computer system agreements, and corporate compliance documents prior to start
• Photo for badge (passport-style with solid background)
• Epic training or test-out form completion as applicable
• Dress code review prior to start
• Additional questionnaires (Latex Allergy, Hyperbaric Chamber if applicable)

• This position accepts first-time travelers; prior travel experience is not required.
• Contract length is approximately 13 weeks with potential for extension.
• Night shift block schedule requires availability Thursday through Sunday nights.
