Job Description

Required Experience

Professional Requirements

- Passing score (80% or higher) on Core Competency Exams (Nursing Core Comp I, II, III)
- Valid US Driver’s License or State ID (not expired)
- Background Check: Must be completed within 30 days of start, including multiple county and national checks
- Drug Screen: Must be completed within 30 days of start; marijuana testing prohibited per state regulations
- Resume: Detailed employment and education history for last 7 years
- Two Professional References: One supervisor reference from last 12 months, one supervisor or peer reference from last 3 years
- Signed Job Description and Employment Verification of most recent employer
- Completion of facility-required forms and acknowledgments (Code of Conduct, Sexual Harassment Acknowledgement, etc.)
- Color headshot photo (professional, no filters)
Additional Notes
- Facility requires annual completion of certain trainings and documentation for extended travelers
- Facility-specific onboarding documents and quizzes must be completed prior to start
This position is suitable for experienced Med/Surg RNs who meet the certification and health requirements and are comfortable working in a stroke unit and telemetry setting.
