Travel Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel


Job Summary

Join a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center with advanced pediatric and cardiac care services. This role is based in a 12-bed Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) equipped with GE CT, GE X-Ray, portable X-Ray, and Bayer Med-Rad Injector. The unit uses Cerner Rad Net and Phillips PACS for EMR.


Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Unit Details

  • 12-bed Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED)
  • Staffing: 1 tech on-site 7am–7pm and 1 tech on-site 7pm–7am
  • May need to float to the Hospital Emergency Department if needed
  • Procedures performed: X-Ray and CT exams

Required Certifications

  • ARRT (R)(CT) Certification
  • BLS Certification

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be a team player but able to work independently
  • Self-motivated with advanced skills in radiologic procedures

Dress Code

  • Black scrubs required
