Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Position

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Start Dates: 1/26, 2/9, 2/14
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)
• 1st Time Travelers: Not accepted (prior travel experience required)
• Locals Accepted: Yes, within 50 miles (at a lower rate)

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – as required
• NIH Stroke Certification – required for ICU, IMC/IMCU, inpatient, Med Surg, Step Down RN positions (renew annually)
• Tech Certification Verification – as applicable

Required Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Color Blind Testing (required for dialysis/kidney center roles)
• Competency Exam (as applicable to profession/specialty)

Background Checks

• 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches for last 7 years, nationwide sex offender check
• State-specific caregiver search (Wisconsin Caregiver Screening)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray within 60 days if applicable)
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 14 days before start
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge (passport style, no filters)
• Compliance checklist and confidentiality statement to be completed prior to start
• Dosimeter request form required for Imaging Department only (not required for MRI Tech)
• Two professional references verified within 2 years of start (for inpatient RNs, one must be from most recent acute care assignment)
• Annual skills checklist

Notes

• Prior travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be accepted for this role.
• Candidates must comply with all background, certification, competency, health, and immunization requirements before starting.
• Locals within 50 miles may be considered but at a different rate.
