Nursing Contract Opportunity - Janesville, Wisconsin

Requirements

Current Wisconsin (WI) and Illinois (IL) nursing licenses
CPR certification
Experience in Skilled Nursing units
Ability to float to other inpatient units or facilities as needed
Willingness to rotate between weekday and weekend shifts
Availability for 0.9 FTE day shift (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM)

Job Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and state laws
Document care according to standards
Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy, including patient and family education
Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support patient care continuity
Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately
