• BLS (AHA)

Experience Requirements

• Strong overall OR experience required
• Preferred experience with ortho cases such as total joints, scopes, fractures, podiatry

Work Environment & Case Load

• Department: Ambulatory Surgery OR
• Number of suites: 10 plus 2 procedure rooms
• Average cases per day: 40-50
• Common case types: Orthopedics, GGU, ENT, Ophthalmology

Job Duties & Scheduling

• Scrubbing: Not required but helpful
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor role shared by 2 RNs on rotation
• Shifts: Modified self-scheduling

  • Shift options: 06:45-15:15, 09:00-17:30
  • Scheduled late shifts approximately 2 times per week
• No weeknight, weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• Floating: May share staff with Inpatient OR as needed
• Orientation: 3-5 days, typically close to 3 days
• Scrubs provided

• Must clock in and out at the facility
• If previously employed at this facility, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission
