Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Springdale, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Friday/Saturday/Sunday

• Ideal candidate able to cover call on Mondays (not mandatory)

Requirements

• Certification: ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT)
• State License: Arkansas State License (easy to obtain with ARRT certification; submissions without active AR license accepted)
• BLS Certification
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT specialty
• Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Distance: Must live greater than 50 miles from the facility

Job Description

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with ARRT
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
• Provide timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients under Radiologist direction and departmental protocols
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Proficient in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy

Equipment & Systems

• Canon (Toshiba) and Philips CT scanners
• Cerner EMR system

• Schedule: Weekend shifts with potential Monday call coverage
