Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Syracuse, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Shift: 12N (1900-0730)
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW) & Every Other Holiday (EOH)
  • No on-call required
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Epic
  • Must be located at least 75 miles from the facility (no local contracts)

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – American Heart Association certification required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certificate required
  • Current RN license verification dated within 30 days of start
  • Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year

Required Professional & Compliance Documents

  • Signed Trinity Code of Conduct Form
  • Completed Trinity I9 form
  • Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
  • Criminal Background Check (Federal, Nationwide, County - last 7 years) including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
  • Education Verification (highest academic degree or equivalent)
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) report dated within 30 days
  • OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days
  • System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start
  • Employment verifications from the last 7 years
  • Joint Commission CORE Exam within the last year
  • Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
  • Resume, Skills Checklist (within a year), and 2 professional references

Required Personal Health History & Immunizations

  • Fit Test (specific to mask type)
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon) test
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series (at least first vaccination prior to start)
  • Varicella – proof of vaccination or IgG titer
  • Tdap – current, non-expired vaccine (declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction)
  • Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine – proof of booster or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
  • Influenza Vaccine – proof or declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
  • 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (includes methadone, phencyclidine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, propoxyphene, amphetamines, opiates, 6-acetyl morphine, methaqualone, barbiturates)
