Job Summary: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Shift: Day Shift, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (7am - 7pm)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of X-Ray/CT experience (highest requirement taken)
• GE CT experience preferred
• Must be competent in CT if not CT Registered

Licenses & Certifications

• WV Medical Imaging License or compact license for WV
• ARRT membership required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• CT Registered preferred but not mandatory if competent

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit prior travel experience required

Work Details

• No on-call duties
• Schedule typically 36/48 hours over two weeks
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly
• Must reside within 100 miles of the facility to be considered

Health & Compliance Requirements

• Proof of 2 MMR vaccinations or positive titer (with follow-up dosing if needed)
• Proof of 3 Hepatitis B vaccine series or declination
• Annual Influenza vaccine (October-March) or approved exemption
• Proof of 2 Varicella vaccinations or positive titer
• Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (declinations accepted)
• TB Quantiferon blood test within one year prior to start
• Annual physical or health statement signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP stating clear to work without restrictions
• Drug screen within 30 days of start (includes multiple substances, marijuana/THC excluded)

Professional & Background Checks

• 2 professional references required (1 charge or higher, 1 supervisor reference within last year)
• Background check within 30 days prior to start including:

  • 7-year county criminal history
  • Nationwide criminal, SSN trace, sex offender registry, SAM, OIG checks
• Education and employment verifications
• West Virginia APS/CPS check
• Social Security trace, OIG, EPLS, OFAC, SAM, National Sex Offender checks as applicable
• Annual updates required for all background and health compliance items

Competency & Skills

• Specialty job description signed and dated, updated annually
• Unit-specific skills checklist within one year prior to start, updated annually
• Competency exam specific to scope of practice within one year prior to start, updated annually
• Core competencies including HIPAA, patient rights, safety, infection control, elder abuse, cultural diversity, advance directives, updated annually

Additional Notes

• Assignment confirmation form must be uploaded within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Candidates must follow all compliance and credentialing instructions promptly to avoid rejection
