Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Elkins, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 4x10 shifts, Monday - Thursday
• Night shift: 9 PM - 7 AM
• Call: Minimal, possibly up to 1 day per week

Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • ARRT certification required
  • West Virginia state license required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required (AHA or ARC)
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC as applicable (refer to job/unit specifics)
• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required
  • Travel experience preferred (not explicitly required)
• Other:

  • Must be willing to travel within a 75-mile radius (no local candidates)
  • Flu vaccine required with medical exemption accepted only with signed doctor’s note (no religious exemptions)
  • Scrubs color: Royal blue

Compliance & Documentation

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, fingerprinting (WV CARES), and state-specific searches
• Physical exam within 1 year of start (updated annually)
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • TDAP (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (updated annually)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers or 2 vaccines with boosters if needed
  • Hepatitis B titer or declination (series not accepted)
• Drug testing: 12-panel alcohol and drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation required during flu season (with strict deadlines and exemption policies)
• Respiratory safety clearance required and updated annually
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completion of CareLearning modules prior to start (approx. 3-4 hours)
• Photo for badge (passport-style with solid background)
• Various facility-specific documents and acknowledgments required prior to start

Additional Notes

• Candidates may start with fingerprinting results pending but must complete fingerprinting in West Virginia
• Candidates must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Contract start date: ASAP, typically 3-4 weeks from offer
