Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - Travel/Contract

Location: Murrieta, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks (3 to 6 months)
Shift Schedule:

• 5 x 8-hour day shifts
• May include occasional weekend coverage and floating

Requirements

• Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in LTC (Long-Term Care) / LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) specialty preferred
  • New graduates will be considered
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS (Basic Life Support) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (current, clear copy required)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
• State License verification as applicable
• National Tech Certification as applicable (for tech roles)

Background & Compliance

• Standard background check including 7-year search of locations lived/worked/schooled
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check (annual)
• HHS/OIG check (annual)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year, or negative chest X-ray if past positive
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella (titer, vaccination, or history of chickenpox)
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)

Additional Requirements

• Emergency Contact Form required prior to start
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Competency Exam as applicable
• Skills Checklist required annually
• Professional References:

  • 2 for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care
  • 1 for Per Diem Non-Acute Care
  • Not required for Non-Clinical roles

Notes

• Assignment is with a 36-hour work week
• Floating and occasional weekend coverage may be required
• New graduates are welcome to apply, though 1 year LTC/LTAC experience is preferred
