Position Details
- Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
- Shift: Nights (1800 - 0600)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (must be specified on submission)
- Weekend Hours: As required by facility / every third weekend
- Call Requirements: None

Licensure & Certifications
- Current RN License eligible for or licensed in Missouri
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- TNCC
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in Emergency Department and trauma (defaulting to higher requirement)
- Must have trauma experience
- Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
Prior travel experience: Not specified / not required
Unit Information
- Level 2 Trauma Center
- Level 1 Stroke (Comprehensive Stroke Center)
- Level 1 STEMI Center
- Number of Beds: 61
- Patient Ratios: 1:4

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
- Maintain professional accountability and patient confidentiality
- Utilize nursing process consistent with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility standards
- Work includes care for post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
Physical & Work Environment
- Stand and walk most of the shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance
- May work varying schedules and shifts based on patient care needs
- Exposure to blood and body fluids (high risk)
- Physical demands include pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs, pinching up to 15 lbs, minimal kneeling, crouching, crawling
Dress Code
- Scrub color: Black only
- No other attire accepted
Additional Notes
- Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; availability for full orientation week required
- Flexible scheduling options available (36 or 48 hours/week)
- Holiday time off requests limited to one per assignment
- Facility reserves right to retract offer within 48 hours
