Job Description

Seeking an RN Educator for the Family Birthplace Unit with a focus on educating Operating Room circulation for C-sections.

Key Requirements:

• High proficiency in Labor & Delivery (L&D) or circulating and C-sections is mandatory.
• Straight L&D RNs will NOT be considered.
• Must have own vehicle for assignment.
• COVID vaccination required (dose date on or after 10/3/23) or approved exemption with mask-wearing on site.
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times (no "anytime").
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be included at profile submission; no more than 3 days allowed. No RTO requests after submission will be approved.
• 8 hours non-billable orientation required.

Experience & Education

• Minimum 3+ years current RN Educator experience in the perinatal field (required).
• Experience educating OR circulation for C-sections (required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree (required).
• Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred.

Certifications (Must be current and included at profile upload)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Profile Requirements

• Work history and skills checklist for Educator role (current within 1 year).
• Skills checklist for Labor and Delivery (current within 1 year).
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.
• Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded).

Additional Notes

• Facility will not pend on offers for missing certifications or documentation.
• Scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; no changes after offer.
• Facility is a 298-bed teaching hospital recognized for patient safety and clinical excellence.
