Position Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC/Telemetry
- Employment Type: Travel
- Location: Dallas, Texas
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of RN experience required (higher value used: 5 years).
- Certifications: Must have current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Licensure: Texas RN license or multi-state compact RN license required.
- Clinical Skills:
- Ventilator and tracheostomy experience required.
- Knowledge of central lines required.
- Wound care and LTAC experience preferred.
