Job Opportunity: MRI Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Turnersville, New Jersey

Job Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Floating: Potential to float to nearby campuses
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: 1 holiday required

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 1 year in specialty
• Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • New Jersey State License
  • ARRT (R) (MR)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Additional Certifications (may be required depending on role):

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
• Pass/Fail Testing: Basic Dysrhythmia Exam required during orientation (one attempt only)

Prior Travel Experience

• Not required (first time travelers accepted)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Education verification (official transcript acceptable)
• Physical exam within 2 months of start
• Fit test (3M 1870+ model) within 12 months prior to start (not available onsite)
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Tdap vaccine or titer
  • Negative TB test (Qgold or TSPOT within 90 days)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (series, titer, or declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season
• Drug screening: 10 panel (9 panel without THC acceptable) within 60 days prior to start
• COVID-19 vaccine no longer required prior to start; medical/religious exemptions accepted with masking requirements; booster preferred but not required
• Professional references (2 within 2 years)
• Work history verification (minimum 1 year prior to start, with limited gaps)

Additional Information

• Orientation includes completion of facility-specific education modules (~6 hours) prior to start
• Signed acknowledgements for safety manual and pass/fail testing required
• Must be able to comply with floating and weekend/holiday requirements

This position offers a structured travel contract with clear requirements for licensure, certifications, and health compliance, suitable for MRI techs with at least 1 year of experience and no prior travel experience necessary.
