Job Opportunity: EP PACU RN (RN PACU)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Description

  • Provide advanced nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) with a focus on cardiovascular pathophysiology.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Maintain a therapeutic environment for patients and families.
  • Utilize equipment, supplies, and nursing resources efficiently.
  • Ensure continuity of patient care and effective communication among staff.
  • Meet all documentation and billing requirements.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, and adherence to hospital and regulatory policies, including Radiation Safety protocols.
  • Participate in continuing education, research, quality improvement, and departmental initiatives.
  • Support the hospital’s mission, vision, and values.

  • Criminal Background Checks: Multiple background checks including CORI, SSN Trace, National Sex Offender Registry, and Exclusion Checks required within 45 days prior to start date.
  • Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • References: Two recent references required, at least one supervisor or above.
  • Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
  • Assignment Confirmation Form: Required for onboarding and assignment extensions.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required.
  • Education Verification: Highest level of education must be verified.

Preferred (Optional) Credentials

  • Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (strongly preferred).
  • Tdap vaccination within 10 years (preferred).
  • Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray documentation if applicable.
