    Job Opportunity: RN - Oncology (Travel)

    Location: Aurora, Colorado
    Employment Type: Travel Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Unit Information

    • Unit Number: 607
    • Facility Type: Medical Center
    • Number of Beds: 345
    • Staff: Float pool of about 80
    • Shifts:
      • Day Shift: RNs and CNAs on most units
      • Night Shift: RNs and CNAs on most units
    • Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 (varies by unit and shift)
    • Equipment: Various
    • EMR System: Meditech

    Required Certifications & Licenses

    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • Chemo Certification (preferred, required to schedule on Oncology unit)
    • Registered Nurse License

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing specialty (Oncology/Tele)
    • Strong Telemetry experience required (minimum 2 years)

    Typical Procedures & Responsibilities

    • Care for a large cardiac patient population
    • Work on 2 Telemetry floors and a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
    • Floating to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
    • Flexibility and willingness to float between units is essential
